6K Additive produces high-performance metal powders for additive manufacturing. Our proprietary manufacturing process allows us to produce powders for aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. Our material has already been qualified with numerous tier 1 supplier organizations including Honeywell Aerospace and Nuvasive Medical to name just a few. Our innovative UniMelt ® microwave plasma process leverages sustainable sources as feedstock such as certified millings from CNC, grindings, used powder, failed builds and support material from the additive manufacturing printing process producing high-quality powder that is truly spherical, void of porosity and satellites with better flowability than competing technologies. We offer the widest powder portfolio that includes Nickel 718, Nickel 625, Titanium-64, SS316L, Copper Alloys, and refractory powder alloys that include Tungsten, Niobium (C103), Tantalum, Rhenium, and Molybdenum.

6K Additive is also a recipient of a $23.4M DPA Title III grant where the company is doubling its production capacity to support critical defense applications. As an example, we will be sourcing components from the US military depots and turning critical material such as titanium and nickel back into powder and pre-ingots to be used for military applications.
